Festive Day Out: A Dickens of a Christmas at Castle Howard! Prepare to be full to the brim with festive cheer! 

Arriving at the house at approximately 1pm giving you ample of time to explore the winter gardens in daylight, visit the Farm Shop, or grab a warm drink at the Stable Courtyard Cafe.

2:45pm you will need to be at the main house entry ready for our Christmas House Main Tour at 3pm. The entry slot is strict so please be on time.

Once inside the house you will experience the spectacular indoor festive staterooms. Envisage immersive Victoriana & Theatrical Storytelling, high-tech projections of classic Charles Dickens novels, iconic characters such as Ebenezer Scrooge and of course the Towering Great Hall Tree.

After the house tour, head outdoors to witness the dramatic evening light projections, illuminated castle facades and festive grounds.

The coach will depart for Hull at 6pm giving you time for a final comfort break. 

Warm layers, gloves and good footwear are highly recommended. Please note most courtyard retail and indoor cafes begin closing between 5pm and 5:30pm so it is highly advised to complete your shopping early on in the day.
