Catch the ultimate taste of summer with a fantastic double-destination day trip combining nostalgic television history with the bustling, vibrant atmosphere of the Yorkshire coast!
Starting the morning climbing onto the scenic North Yorkshire Moors to visit the beautiful village of Goathland, famously known as the home of ITV’s Heartbeat. Enjoy a peaceful morning stroll past Scripps Garage, look out for the steam trains at the heritage station, or grab a morning coffee on the village green.
In the afternoon, we head down to the magnificent coastal town of Whitby! We arrive right in the heart of Whitby Folk Week, meaning the historic cobblestone streets and harbor promenade will be alive with music, colourful dance displays, and festive stalls. You will have a full four hours to enjoy world-famous fish and chips, hunt for traditional Whitby Jet jewelry, or climb the famous 199 steps to the Abbey ruins!
Leaving Whitby at approximately 4:30pm, arriving back in Hull for approximately 6:30pm.
